Despite the fact it is a relatively young bank, founded only in 2009, Aldermore has achieved enormous success becoming one of Britain's leading alternative banks.
In March 2018, Aldermore became part of FirstRand Group, one of South Africa’s largest financial services institutions. It has in excess of 1,000 colleagues at offices throughout the UK, with its headquarters based in Peterborough.
Seeking entrance into the UK savings market
Since the beginning, Aldermore intended to deliver banking as it should be; simple and straightforward. They wanted to create a better customer journey for those accessing financial products.
In 2009, the digital bank was looking for a partner that could deliver a solution that would enable entry into the UK savings market. It wanted to diversify its funding base to raise deposits from retail customers.
Award winning savings accounts
Our savings management platform was used to launch Aldermore into the retail savings market, with a range of products including fixed rate, easy access and Cash ISAs.
Outsourcing to our savings management service allowed Aldermore to focus on its core strengths whilst our dedicated team of experts managed the set up and care of its personal savings business.
Our solution has offered the flexibility to handle varying volumes of business, which has helped Aldermore mitigate risks associated with managing a personal savings book.
