Two new recruits secured for client services expansion

Newcastle Strategic Solutions, the fast growing subsidiary of Newcastle Building Society, has recently invested to strengthen the delivery of its client services with two new recruits. Lauren Taylor and Clare Weightman have both joined Newcastle Strategic Solutions to head up our client services teams. Both have recently relocated back to the North East to take up the newly created positions.

Lauren is a leader with deep experience of outsourced, managed-service relationships. She has had responsibility for contract delivery into complex and demanding organisations such as O2, Capita and Volkswagen. Her extensive client management background has given her experience working across a number of vertical markets and business sectors. Clare joins the business from Essence Global, a global leader in digital and data driven advertising, where she was responsible for leading and growing their global relationship with Google over a 10-year period.

In their new role, they will each take responsibility for a portfolio of clients, leading a group of Client Services Managers to broaden engagement and support client growth. David Titterton, Client Services Director said; “We are delighted to attract top talent to our business and welcome both Clare and Lauren back to the region. Both with extensive client relationship management experience, they have built long-standing relationships with some of the biggest companies in the world. We believe their forward thinking and progressive ideas will help us push the boundaries and deliver an even better framework that helps facilitate excellent governance and accelerated growth for our clients”.

This is the first phase of a major recruitment drive where Newcastle Strategic Solutions is looking to fill 80 additional new roles, adding to its existing 600-strong colleague team, based at Cobalt Park and Newcastle City Centre.
