Newcastle Strategic Solutions Ltd have partnered with Pulsant for the provision of state-of-the-art data centre services.
Pulsant own and operate a network of carrier-neutral enterprise-class datacentres across the UK and, with their expert knowledge and ISO27001 accreditation, are a strong fit with Newcastle Strategic Solutions business model and were chosen following a rigorous selection process. The partnership will see our business occupy one of the most connected commercially available datacentres outside the M25 to take advantage of world class security and resilience and highly scalable capacity.
As part of the migration of the Internet Savings platform to the new facility, we invested in new core infrastructure to take full advantage of the Pulsant site and to ensure service levels were maintained throughout. Phil Grand, Managing Director, said; "Relocating our internet savings software, infrastructure and hardware to a remote location will allow us to better protect customers’ data and ensure cyber security in a more secure and resilient environment."
Following the successful infrastructure build and the orchestrated relocation of services from the Portland House headquarters to the Pulsant facility, all phases of the data centre migration, including its internal and Internet facing services, are now complete.
